Black Friday Sale

People seem to wrongly think that the after thankgsiving sales have always been known as the Black Friday Sale but they are wrong. While the Friday after thanksgiving has been a huge sale day since the 1920's the Black Friday name has only been traced back to the 1960's.

It doesn't really make any difference whether you are calling it the Day After Thanksgiving sales or the Black Friday Sale you are interested in what bargains we will see in this years sale and not much else!

We all know that it is still a little bit early for the black friday sales adverts to be out yet, I am writing this at the end of October and the other thing is do you really want them to be available just yet? I mean if they are ready then you have some time to look at them all you are going to do is fixate on them isn't it?

Before you start thinking about what you are going to be buying on the day after thanksgiving you should be thinking about what you really need to buy rather than waiting till the day and then rushing out and buying everything in sight.

Remember when you were a kid and it was December, your parents would start telling you all about father Christmas and how he was making a list, checking it twice to see which little boys and girls had been naughty and which had been nice. Well getting ready for your thanksgiving sale shopping is very similar.

Admittedly you don't have to worry about whether you have been naughty or nice, but you do need to make a shopping list. The reason you should have Black Friday shopping list is the same one why they tell you to have a shop when you go to the supermarket, if you don''t have a list you will almost certainly buy stuff you don't need, won't ever use and will wish you hadn't been tempted with.

I understand 100% that we won't see bargains like this again until next year, well unless they do some crazy last minute Christmas shopping deal. I also know how tempting that 32inch LCD TV for just $499 can be (we nearly bought one two years ago and then realized we had more TV's in the house than we need anyway) but is it a thanksgiving bargain if you never use it?
